While transferring to Toraja, you will visit Ramang-Ramang, where you can ride a small boat on the Pute River and enjoy a panoramic view of Karst stone. Then take a short walk around paddy fields or visit a local village. En route, you will have a lunch stop at Pare-Pare and a coffee stop at Puncak Lakawang. Toraja Misiliana
Start the day by exploring the Toraja highlands' land and culture. Drive to Rembon, where villagers create a monument from buffalo bones, bamboo weaving, and other traditional skills. For example, the Tau-tau. It is a Torajan effigy that represents a person who has died. Tau-tau statues are frequently seen near where the deceased's body has been laid to rest. Then go to Kote to see the baby tree tombs, where the baby is buried inside the hollow of living trees. Continue to Londa; there is an ancient ceremonial burial ground. Then visit Tongkonan, a traditional Torajan house, in Kete Kesu.
Today you'll drive to the north of Toraja to visit Loko’ Mata, a massive square-shaped rock that villagers use as a burial site. Take a short hike to Batutumonga, where you'll be able to take in panoramic views of Rantepao and the surrounding valleys.
